NNPCL, other Nigerian petrol stations cut fuel prices

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) and several other petrol marketers have once again reduced the pump price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) across various outlets.

Checks by the DWORLDGIST  in parts of Abuja revealed that NNPCL retail stations have reviewed their pump price downward to ₦915 per litre, a slight drop from the previous ₦920 per litre. This represents a ₦5 reduction.

Further monitoring showed that other major marketers, including MRS and BOVAS, also decreased their pump prices, now selling petrol at ₦910 per litre after previously dispensing it for up to ₦945 per litre.

Similarly, outlets such as AYM Shafa, NIPCO, Optima, Mobil, Ranoil, and Empire were seen selling PMS within a range of ₦920 to ₦937 per litre across the capital city.

The latest adjustments follow changes at the ex-depot level, with prices at major suppliers such as Dangote Refinery (₦824.50 per litre), Eterna (₦823), Aiteo (₦823), and BOVAS (₦822).

This trend is part of a series of recent reductions, as DAILY POST notes that NNPCL has now lowered its petrol prices twice in the last two weeks, bringing the cumulative drop to ₦30 from ₦945 per litre.
